Look for a stronger internet presence from Tourism Rossland in the coming months.
This thanks to a large influx of funding through the Lower Columbia Community Directed Funds Program from the Columbia Basin Trust, to the tune of $183,000.
Deanne Steven, Tourism Rossland’s Executive Director, says a lot of the money will be set aside for video marketing.
She says the funding creates a tremendous opportunity for the entire area by allowing them to extend some of their initiatives to the entire Lower Columbia region.
