The Creston Valley will soon have a Volunteer Bank.
Founder Eileen Fitzpatrick says a number of local organizations already utilize volunteers but there is no main hub to connect the two.
She says her vision is to create this.
The volunteer bank would recruit, train, retain and match people with the best suited local organization.
Fitzpatrick is hosting a public meeting Friday November 27 at the Creston Public Library at 7 pm to brainstorm goals and determine current volunteer numbers.
