Rossland council to decide on new skate park

Construction for a new skate park in Rossland could start next spring pending approval from city council.

This from Robin Strachan who is on the Board Of Directors for the Rossland Skate Park Association.

Strachan adds the main challenge in getting to this point has been fundraising as they are looking at a $400,000 price tag for the project.

It would be built near Rossland Secondary School, adjacent to Washington Street.

A final decision from council whether or not to build the park comes December 14th.
