Residents in Grand Forks will be getting expanded services and more accessible hours at the Social Development And Social Innovation office.
That office has merged with the local Service BC center.
Hours will be extended from half day services on weekday afternoons to 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
Some of the services available through the office include marriage licencing, voter registration, hydro bill payments as well as employment and assistance.
The aim of the move is to cut back on red-tape and make the office a one-stop shop of sorts.
