Whitewater staff are being trained for next weekend’s official full opening of ski season.
The slopes will be open tomorrow and Sunday as well but will close up for the following five days.
Sales and Marketing Director Rebeckah Hornung says things are coming together nicely.
To avoid waiting to get into the lift Saturday she recommends picking up a pass at the Whitewater office in Nelson. They’ll be open with extended hours from 8:30 am til 6 pm.
This year’s time line for opening is on par with last year and Hornung says the slopes are looking great.
