The Creston Valley Public Library’s 5-Year Strategic Plan is nearing completion.
The public survey results are under review and will be compiled with the information gathered through research and consultation.
Chief Librarian, Aaron Francis says input from the community is key to how the library is run.
Francis says technology has changed the library over the past few decades and he is hearing that people want it to go back to how it used to be, a quiet place to enjoy books.
A draft of the strategic plan will be forwarded to the board for approval in January.
