Outdoor enthusiasts and hunters will be able to learn more about the province’s plans to restrict motorized vehicle use in the Pend d’Oreille Valley.
The ministry plans a new access management area in the valley which would reduce vehicle use to protect wildlife populations, habitats and sensitive ecosystems.

A public meeting has been scheduled for Trail’s Charles Bailey Theatre on Monday December 14th at 7pm.
The ministry says a recent increase in off-road vehicle use and illegal trail building has damaged the area and compromised wildlife habitat.
