You never know what you might pick up at your local convenience store.
That was the case for Nelson police in the wee hours of Friday. They noted a couple of trucks outside the 7-Eleven with no front license plates – indicating they were from Alberta.
But when police ran a check they discovered they’d been stolen. One of the drivers – a woman- drove off when police tried to take her into custody.Police say one of their officers was nearly dragged off with her.
She was later arrested in Kamloops.
The other driver – a 35 year old man- was arrested on scene.
