It’s Christmas Hamper day in Creston.
Over 100 volunteers packed up 475 hampers yesterday with the makings for a Christmas meal, extra food for the holiday season and toys for families with children.
Pastor Tom Greentree says the community has again pitched in with overwhelming support.
People registered to receive a hamper can pick them up between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm today at the Creston Community Complex.
Greentree says those who are not registered can drop by at 3:00 and the Ministerial Association will see what can be done.
