It appears all the wet weather lately has caused issues on the Nelson-Salmo rail trail.
The RDCK has announced the closure of a portion of the recreation amenity near Nelson between Troup Junction and the first large trestle bridge.
It’s because of landslides. The RDCK did not give details on the precise cause or when the section will be re-opened.
