Teck Trail’s “no idle” policy to reduce emissions

Teck Trail Operations has introduced policies to help reduce carbon emissions.

This from Carol Vanelli-Worosz, Teck Trail’s Community Engagement Leader.

They’re continuing to improve energy efficiency, implementing low carbon technologies and she says Teck has been advocating for carbon pricing.

Recently world leaders inked an agreement to keep global warming below 2 degrees.

Vanelli-Worosz says Teck supports their decision as well as society’s transition to a lower-carbon future and will continue to implement initiatives to reduce their emissions.
