The emergency room at the Creston Valley Hospital has reopened following an overnight closure due to limited staff.
Interior Health says the ER reopened at 7 a.m.
“Interior Health regrets this temporary change to normal operations,” the health authority said in a news release on Sunday evening.
People with emergencies were asked to call 911 or visit the emergency department at the hospitals in Cranbrook, Trail, or Nelson.
But it wasn’t immediately known how many people might have done so.
