On Oct. 8, Creston RCMP responded to a report of an attack with an axe on the 400 block of 4 Avenue.
When they arrived, they found that Daniel Jackson actually used a cleaver to attack a victim after a disagreement.
In the report, RCMP say the victim suffered “extensive injuries”, but is expected to recover.
Jackson will remain in custody.
