The tender for the Creston Valley Hospital and Health Centre Emergency Department renos has been awarded to a Creston company.
Interior Health picked T.A. Rendek and Associates LTD as the successful bidder.
Site Manager Carolyn Hawton says there were a few interested parties but this choice made sense.
Hawton says the Emergency Department will remain open and operating to capacity, but in a reduced space.
Phase 1 of the $650, 000 project will start in mid- January and will take several weeks while Phase 2 is expected to last 12 to 14 weeks.
