Area-C’s Rural Director is looking to further improve fire protection in West Creston in the upcoming year.
Larry Binks says this past year saw major progress with the service now up and running with trained volunteers.
But he says the trucks and equipment are currently stationed on rented property.
Earlier this month, West Creston home owners learned they are eligible for a discount on their insurance, as the improved fire service boosted the dwelling protection grade rating.
