Creston RCMP still on the lookout for two men

Creston RCMP are asking the public for assistance in locating two men wanted on multiple warrants.

Jeremy O’Brien, 37, is wanted for three counts of theft under $5,000, says RCMP Constable Brett Urano.

“(He is) known to come and go through Creston. He’s about six foot, 150 pounds, has brown hair and green eyes, and he’s a thinner build. He is wanted for three counts of theft here in Creston on three separate warrants, and we would like to get him back in custody.”

Urano says once he is found, O’Brien will be held for court.

Additionally, the RCMP is still on the lookout for Chad Meszarosi, 38.

“Mr. Meszarosi is still wanted on all 32 of those charges since he was last released and failed to attend,” stated Urano.

“He currently has a bench warrant for all 32 of those charges. We are still actively looking for him.”

Meszarosi’s charges include aggravated assault, firearms offences, uttering threats, and more.

He is known to travel through the Interior and has been spotted in the Central Kootenays.

Urano says if you see him, do not approach him.

“We’ve had lots of great tips, and we would just ask that those tips continue. They are always beneficial to us in locating Mr. Meszarosi. Last time, he was wanted over the holidays, over December, he was located because of tips.”
