Creston RCMP ask public to look out for wanted man

Creston RCMP is asking you to keep an eye out for a man wanted on a number of charges.

Police officials said Chad Meszarosi has been known to travel around the Kootenays, particularly Salmo, Nelway, Fruitvale, Trail, and Nelson.

“We have received information that he may be seeking out medical assistance,” said Creston RCMP Staff Sergeant Brandon Buliziuk. “If he is spotted, or his whereabouts are known, please contact the Creston RCMP or your local detachment immediately. Should you see Meszarosi, do not approach him as he is considered very dangerous to the public.”

The 38-year-old man is wanted for 32 changes, including breach of release order, aggravated assault, various weapons offences, escaping custody, forcible confinement, break and enter, and theft, among others.
