Guns stolen from Creston business

Creston RCMP want your help identifying suspects after guns were stolen from a business overnight.

Police say they responded to a break and enter in the 1000 block of Canyon Street and discovered multiple firearms had been stolen along with ammunition. Police didn’t specify the types of guns but said a forensics team collected evidence.

“All necessary resources, including RCMP support services are actively engaged to identify the suspects and secure these stolen weapons,” says Cst. Brett Urano. “If you saw or heard anything suspicious, or have information about this theft, we want to hear from you.”

Anyone with any information or dashcam footage from the area between 3 and 5:30 a.m. is asked to call the Creston RCMP at 250-428-9313 or Crime Stoppers.
