A new art rental program in Nelson will see the walls at City Hall covered by some local artists.
Joy Barrett, Nelson’s Cultural Development Officer has an idea of what kind of artwork could qualify.
Throughout the years Nelson has amassed an inventory of 40 permanent pieces of public art and has initiated a rotating sculpture gallery on Baker Street.
The Cultural Development Committee hopes this program will support and promote the growth of public art in Nelson.
Artists can submit their work to the CDC until January 15th.
