A local group which funds projects that benefit the economic growth in the Lower Columbia region is in it’s final year of operations.
The Community Directed Funds Committee administers funding from the Columbia Basin Trust.
Bruce LeRose, the committee’s Chair, says the group is looking for more projects to support.
Over the past two years the group has distributed $326,000 towards various projects.
This leaves just under $275,000 in funding to go towards further initiatives in 2016.
