In hopes of adding structure to the group, members of the Trail Regional Airport Steering Committee now have designated roles.
City councilor Kevin Jolly is the chair for the committee and joins mayor Mike Martin and councilor Robert Cacchione as council liaisons.
The city’s CAO David Perehudoff and the airport manager make up the rest of the committee which is mandated to recommend short and long-term development objectives for the airport.
Jolly says the airport is a big economic driver for the area and the committee will continue to work towards finalizing plans for a new terminal building.
