The renovations at Creston Valley Hospital’s Emergency Department are now under way.
Phase One of construction is expected to last 3 to 4 weeks and access will remain at the Emergency and Ambulance entrances.
But there will be no through access between the emergency department and the main building.
Public accessing non-emergency services must use the main hospital entrance.

During the renovations, Interior Health is encouraging people to see their family physician prior to coming to the hospital as there may an increase in emergency room congestion and wait times.
The $650, 000 project includes a new triage and registration room.
The entire reno project is expected to be completed by the end of spring.
