An airshow could be coming to the regional airport at Castlegar in 2017.
This from city councilor Kevin Chernoff who is attending the North West Council of Airshows next month.
He is hoping to learn from officials who are in charge of the renowned Abbotsford event.
Chernoff says the event would create some great PR for the local regional airport.
As a possible precursor to the potential 2017 event, Chernoff is trying to secure a Snowbird flyover in August as they make their way to Abbotsford for this year’s airshow.
