Castlegar has made another big push to land some interest in its undeveloped airport lands.
A delegation went to last week’s international shopping centres conference in Whistler.
Among them was Councillor Kevin Chernoff.
He says the event has 400 developers, real estate and commercial companies and they hit all the right people.
The City Of Castlegar has spent millions running infrastructure to its airport lands and still seeks a developer willing to create some sort of retail-commercial campus there.
