Adopt and save in Creston

Thinking of adopting a pet? Timing couldn’t be better with the Town of Creston offering a one-year free pet licence to those who adopt a dog or cat through Creston’s Pet Adoption or a Welfare Society (PAWS).

Creston Mayor Arnold DeBoon says the initiative encourages people to save a life and register their pets.

“If you look through the newspaper ads and our social media, they will tell you that its frequent for animals to come up for adoption, either dogs or cats through PAWS, and we’re encouraging people to obtain your pets that way and then we’ll make it just a little bit easier by how we contribute to their licensing for the first year.”

For more information reach out to the Town of Creston council.
