One of the key points to the 2016 budget which was laid out by the Provincial Government yesterday are changes to MSP premiums.
Local MLA for Kootenay-West, Katrine Conroy, says the changes might not amount to any savings for families.
The changes come after MSP rates were hiked by 4% in Janurary.
Conroy points out there will be a $77 increase to those who are receiving disability assistance, but that could be canceled out with the cancelation of disability transit passes which will now need to be purchased.
