Another chapter in the long skatepark saga for the city of Trail.
City council has decided to run a site analysis at the preferred location for the facility which is the boat launch at Gyro Park.
Councilor Sandy Santori explains the finer points of the study.
Santori says the study will cost $21,000.
The results of the study will help the city’s decision to apply for a recreational infrastructure grant from the Columbia Basin Trust in July.
The cost of a skatepark has been capped at $650,000 subject to getting a grant.
