Thunder name Rolfe assistant coach

The Creston Valley Thunder has named Matt Rolfe assistant coach.

Rolfe, who previously served as the club’s interim head coach and has worked as a scout for the organization, joins head coach and general manager Larry Wintoneak on the team’s full-time hockey operations staff.

“Matt brings over 20 years of experience in Junior Hockey to the table and has the full faith of the organization. We thank Matt for his work as the Interim Head Coach / GM, and look forward to seeing recruiting successes for our club as a result of Matt’s years of scouting experience. This addition will greatly compliment the extensive experience brought by HC/GM Wintoneak,” said Brandon Buliziuk, president and director of hockey operations for the Creston Valley Thunder.
