A bit of a manic Monday for Nelson’s Fire department last night.
The most serious incident was a car that caught alight outside a pizza take-away restaurant.
Two fire engines and a utility vehicle responded and doused the flames before they spread to the building.
Earlier crews dealt with a vehicle incident on the corner of Second St and Davies St. The car went through the boulevard and into a bus shelter but fortunately no one was in it.
And before that crews went to a two vehicle crash on Baker Street but there were also no injuries there.
