The results are in from the Downtown Business Walk that was conducted in Creston this past May.
Kim Goodall from the BC Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training says shop local and staffing issues were the two common themes.
Goodall says on the flip side of that, the current low dollar is benefitting creston as people are being drawn north of the border to shop.
The BC Government, Town of Creston and Creston Valley Chamber of Commerce partnered to deliver the business walk and were joined by representatives from various local and regional organizations.
A second business walk is planned for this fall.
