The College of the Rockies is welcoming new provincial money for aboriginal students.
The $75,000, one time funding will be used to hire an Indigenous Cultural Liaison.
Dr. Stan Chung, VP of Academics says this position will compliment the existing Aboriginal Coordinator Position.
Chung says the goal is to increase the number of indigenous students enrolled at the college from 10 to 15%
The position will start in the fall.
