Improvements are coming to pedestrian access around the outside of the Creston and District Community Complex.
The path along the west side of building it set to be completed by the end of this year.
This will connect the North end of the complex to the South near the stairs up from the soccer field.
Manager of Recreation Randy Feduik says this will make it more age-friendly.
A deteriorating staircase on Southeast side of the complex is also to be replaced.
Feduik says the $74, 000 project was budgeted for but they are pursuing grants to help offset the cost.
