Programs for special needs students coming to COTR

The College of the Rockies is developing programs for students at its Creston Campus who face barriers to education and training.

A one-time $75, 000 investment from the province is aimed at supporting people with special needs.

Dr. Stan Chung, VP of Academics says the college will spend the next year studying the needs in Creston.

Which will help them fill in the gaps.

Chung says these programs typically they include reading, writing and communication courses aimed directly at specific workplaces.
