The Creston Valley Thunder Cats have named McConnell Kimmett team captain for the 2016-17 season.
The 20-year old defenceman is heading into his third year.
Kimmett scored six goals and 23 points in 47 regular season games last year.
The KIJHLÂ season begins September 9th.
