A project connecting art and agriculture in the Creston Valley for Canada’s 150th is gaining momentum.
Organiser Brenda Brucker got the idea from a magazine article.
She says it is the perfect concept for the Creston area.
Brucker says the Community Arts Council of Creston has offered its support with pursuing funding and planning.
The vision sees integrating all forms of art and farming for a series of events leading up to Canada Day 2017.
Farmers and artists are invited to the next planning meeting at 7:30 p.M. July 12 at the Creston Museum.
