Creston’s Mayor has been formally recognized for his work with a local first nations community.
Ron Toyota was awarded the Friends of the Ktunaxa Nation award at their recent Annual General Assembly.
It was hosted by the Lower Kootenay Band.
Chief Jason Louie says Toyota is well deserving of the recognition.
