A slight increase in payroll at the Town of Creston last year.
Just over $2.7 million was paid in salaries in 2015 compared to just over $2.6 million the year prior.
Last year’s pay raise for mayor and council brought their collective total up from $99, 000 to $105, 000.
Plus a $10, 000 increase in expenses compared to 2014.
Seven employees made over $100, 000 versus five the previous year.
That includes the Town Manager, Director of Finance and Corporate Services, Manager of Engineering and Fire Chief.
Staff expenses totalled $136, 000 compared to $122, 000 last year.
