Castlegar company wins Arrow Creek water contract

A Castlegar company has been awarded the contract to complete the Arrow Creek water project.

Marwest Industries got the job with their low bid of just under $4 million.

Rural Creston regional district director Tanya Wall says she’s pleased a local company will do the work.

The line will serve Erickson and the Town of Creston.

WSP Canada, which has offices in Cranbrook and Rossland, was previously awarded the engineering job.

Substantial completion is expected by late October.
