Creston’s by-election will be a five-way race.
In addition to Signe Miller and Hugh Taylor, who were the first to file their papers, three others have stepped forward.
They are Adam Casemore, Bill Hutchinson, and Scott Veitch.
Hutchinson is Creston’s former town manager, who ran unsuccessfully for mayor in 2014. Veitch served on council from 2011-14, but did not seek re-election.
They’re seeking to replace the late Joe Snopek in the June 10 vote.
The deadline for nominations was Friday at 4 p.m.
