New Democrat Michelle Mungall has been elected to a third term as MLA for Nelson-Creston.
But she’ll return to a much different legislature with the Green Party potentially holding the balance of power.
Speaking while the numbers were still coming in, Mungall said her approach will remain the same.
Although the Green Party’s Kim Charlesworth was second most of the night, she finished third, about 120 votes behind Liberal Tanya Wall.
