The Regional District of Central Kootenay has given its blessing to a solar farm being set up east of Kitchener.
But area director Tanya Wall says there are many more steps before it becomes a reality.
The RDCK’s approval comes with some protection for the nearby rod and gun club’s shooting range.
Wall says she thinks it’s a great project.
