The Sears store in Creston is one of 59 slated across Canada slated to close.
The company made the announcement today as it seeks court protection and attempts to restructure.
The Grand Forks location will also close.
The move will affect 2,900 employees across the country, the company said.
However, it’s not clear how quickly the closures will occur.
