Wildfire evacuees in BC will get some relief on their power and gas bills from Fortis.
The company will provide credits for any charges incurred while customers were out of their homes.
Spokeswoman Nicole Bogdanovich says that’s not all.
It affects about 2,400 power customers and 12,000 natural gas customers.
That includes some Nelway-area residents forced out by the McCormick Creek fire.
