Creston Concert Society presents Symphony of the Kootenays

Celebrate Conductor Jeff Faragher’s 10th year with Symphony of the Kootenays that includes Camille Saint Saens’ cello concerto, and the work he has wanted to perform for many years – Berlioz’s remarkable Symphonie fantastique, the story of an obsessed artist and is filled with dramatic and macabre events. The music stunned its first audiences in 1830 and remains a virtuosic showpiece for orchestras today.
