The man who was a driving force behind the revitalization and rejuvenation of Baker Street 30 years ago has been honoured by the city of Nelson.
Bob Inwood says the recognition is flattering but he says the baker street project was a group effort.
Inwood, an architectural expert, says he was the pointman in restoring more than 70 buildings on Baker street to their previous state.
The heritage buildings on the Nelson strip remain a draw for tourists and give the city it’s unique character.
