On July 15, 2024, at 8:03 pm, Creston Valley Fire Departments responded to reports of a structure fire in the area of Hurry Rd.
A statement from the fire service said that when crews arrived on the scene, smoke was coming from a large warehouse-type building at the site of the blaze.
Once inside, they found a vehicle on fire, which was quickly extinguished with no fire extension into the building.
Creston Fire Rescue said the cause of the blaze is undetermined, although it appears to be a battery malfunction.
