Home damaged by fire

A home in Creston has sustained significant damage following a fire on Friday morning, March 14.

Creston Valley Fire Department were dispatched to the area of Lloyd Rd near 32nd St at 9:10am to reports of a structure fire.

After arriving crews found the exterior of the residents alight, extending up the side of the building and into the eaves.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire before it extended significantly into the roof and there were no injuries reported.

A total of 20 Firefighters and 10 pieces of apparatus responded to the incident from Canyon-Lister, Wynndel-Lakeview, West Creston, and Creston departments.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
