A recent rash of residential break and enters in Creston has the RCMP urging people to lock up.
Corporal Gerry Sliworsky says small town living doesn’t mean there is no crime.
Sliworsky says the RCMP has a person of interest in connection with the break-ins and the incidents have tapered off.
Over the past few weeks, electronics, jewelry and cash have been nabbed from several unlocked homes in Creston.
Meanwhile Creston RCMP made an arrest in last week’s break in and theft at Pro-to-Call. The suspect, a Kamloops resident, will be in court later this month.
