Creston imposes water restrictions

The Town of Creston has imposed Stage 1 water conservation measures.

The mandatory restrictions on outdoor water use go into effect on June 1 each year regardless of the weather and will remain in place until Sept. 30.

You can only water lawns, apply pesticide or fertilizer between 7 and 10 p.m.

You are still allowed to wash sidewalks, driveways, and building exteriors, fill fountains or other decorative features, hot tubs or wading pools. Swimming pools can only be filled between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m.
