The Creston Hospital has exceeded the amount of donations to light the star on top of the building
The lighting is part of the Starlite Campaign with East Kootenay Foundation for Health.
Site Manager Carolyn Hawton says they’re halfway to their goal.
And donations are going right to the hospitals needs.

She says they’re hoping to fund more items for the hospital.
The hospital is raising money for operation room supplies and IV pumps among other things.
The campaign runs until the end of the year.
You can find applications at the front desk of the hospital to make individual donations.
